Words are counted by splitting text on spaces and line breaks, so the tool works for any language that separates words with spaces. Reading time assumes about 225 words per minute and speaking time about 130 words per minute, which are common averages for adults. Keyword density is how often a word appears divided by the total word count. Common filler words are ignored by default so the list shows meaningful terms.
Different tasks have different targets: a post on X is limited to 280 characters, a meta description is usually kept near 160 characters and a page title near 60. Essays and articles often have a minimum word count, so check before you submit. Reading time is based on an average adult reader.
There is no magic number. Use the list to spot words you repeat too often, and write naturally.
Those languages do not use spaces between words, so use the character count instead.
